In-vehicle payment concepts are one of the most innovative trends in the automotive. So many vendors research new ways to allow customers and businesses to reach a new level in the connected cars area.
Honda Dream Drive in a partnership with Visa announced a new integrated, AI-based in-car experience, which was earlier presented at Consumer Electronics Show and has been further developed into the prototype Honda Dream Drive driver application. This new technology will be available to Honda cars that have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.
The new technology will allow passengers and drivers to use voice-control and mobile technology to park, buy gasoline or order food and services at selected retail partners, such as Atom Tickets, Phillips 66, GrubHub, iHeartRadio, and others.
At the moment Mastercard and PayPal supported as in-payment providers and craft Honda’s in-vehicle payments initiative.
